I have decided to abandon the DLP's and buy a Panasonic 50 7uy. My only question is....Does it come with a DVI or HDMI slot? or do I need to ask the representative to add one. I will be using my PC to play Everquest 2 when it comes out every once in a while. Mostly the TV will be used to play playstation 2 and watch dvd's and hd shows. Thanks for your help.

Just curious...why did you decide to go with a plasma?

I was going to go with dlp because there were 3 things that bothered me about plasma. With the current generation of plasma's, all three concerns are no longer a problem in my opinion.

1) longevity... new plasma's have a life of 60,000 hours.

2) price...plaspa's have dropped dramatically in the past few months and now equal or beat many dlp's.

3) burn-in...the new technology all but eliminates burn-in as long as proper maintnance is done.


I have always believed that the picture quality of plasma's has been superior to dlp's. Now that all of my main concerns are gone, I went with plasma.
