Hi all,

I bought this tv back during black friday in 08. I moved out and currently my tv is sitting in a spare bedroom without being plugged in or watched. I was wondering is it bad to let it sit for a few months will it damage the plasma or anything if it hasnt been used.

It should be fine. It was like that when it was shipped. My tv sat in its box for over a year before I bought it. You may loose your settings though.

thanks for the ease of mind.

Should i put anything over it to protect from dust? i dont want to scratch the screen

Maybe just cover it with a sheet.
