I have a few external battery packs, recently bought this Gorilla 16,800mAh one that is capable of producing 2.0A @ 5v.

Instead of hiking with a pathetic 3-hour-battery-life-100$-bluetooth speaker, I've found it to be more practical to grab my cheap-o desktop USB powered speakers, plug them into the power supply, and 'create' a portable speaker this way. However, those are geared for USB 2.0 - 0.5A @ 5V. At full volume, it's barely not enough, and of course, the quality is terrible. My battery pack can output 2.0A, is there a way for me to take advantage of that? Does anyone have any suggestions for stronger speakers? Am I misled into thinking I can get more power / am I missing something here?
