When I was playing with the XP21N, I recall that in component mode it would only support video resolutions. (i.e. 480p, 540p, 1080i) and would scale a 540p as 16:9. You just need a breakout cable and a source with component out.
I would hope that between Quadscan and the XP21N RGB settings that one could get the right color and gamma.
