I've presently got about 145 hours on my TH-AE100 and Iscan Plus(v.1). Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the results I've gotten from all the tweaking so far(Hoya FL-D, defocus, anti-reflective spray on my 85'' diy screen), but...can I improve it more?

My biggest gripe is that I don't have any scaling options with the iscan, and would love NOT to see my non-anamorphic dvd's window-boxed. Zooming my dss 4:3 picture would be nice too. I also find the iscan a little soft with my Pioneer DV-414's S-Video out, so I'm thinking that its component outs into the Quadscan might help this, as well as improve the occasional 'jaggie' that is sometimes viewed with the iscan.

I'm not sure the QS Pro can scale to the AE-100's native resolution though, as it is not listed, or does it even matter? So, will I take a hit on de-intelacing for the convenience of a little zoom with the QS or not. Don't be shy, I'd love to read some opinions.

An RP56+Transcoder yields a very sharp picture.
