I think I am going to buy a Qualia. Totally unexpectedly, I won a science prize of $ 65'000. I will donate half of it to my lab, but with the other half I want to do something good to myself! The Qualia would fit quite exactly into that price range...

However, my flat has a weird architecture, and i would need to position the projector in a corner of the room. Does anybody know whether I would be able to precisely adjust the optomechanical (non-digital) horizontal and vertical keystone, such that I would obtain a perfectly rectangular image, thereby eliminating any trapezoidal aberration. If so, by how many degrees can the Qualia be adjusted?

If no such thing is possible, what would be an alternative projector of similar quality capable of keystone adjustment?

Many thanks for any advice!

Dear Art, that is fine and reasonable advice - but still: do you know whether is possible to titrate the geometry of the lens in order to correct the parallaxis of the Qualia?

The Qualia has readily accessible vertical lens shift, plus horizontal shift available on the mount, but no optical keystone correction. The projector really must be parallel to the screen for proper operation.

Have you considered using a front surface mirror?
