Hey all-
I am a DIY in the midst of a retrofit structured wiring project. I purchased a spool of the above wire when I was planning out my project, as at the time, it seemed the superior 'composite' 2x2 cable from belden.
However, as I am now ordering connectors/crimpers etc, I am ordering all quad-shield stuff, and I notice, belden actually lists this as 'duobond plus TRI-sheild'. Oops.
Am I going to have a problem getting connectors onto this, or is this duobond plus just a trade name for a different type of quad shield that belden makes? Should I return the crimpers when they come, or try them out? Any advice (or explanation as to exactly which parts of the wire I want exposed/connected) is appreciated-
