question about bandpass boxes

i have 2, 12 inch kenwood typhoon subwoofers in my car in a sealed box. i am looking to put them into a bandpass box, but i am reading that some subwoofers sound better in them and some sound worse, i listen to mostly rap in my car and know that bandpass boxes are ideal for that, but before going to buy one i want to see if anyone here can give me some advice.

All bandpass boxes need to be burned. Rap aside, there is more than one note in the bass region.
