I can get the Boston Acoustic MCS100 MDNT 5.1 speakers at Dakmart with a Denon AVR590 reciever for $384 delivered. Both are refurbished. The Denon DHT590BA (Denon AVR590 paired with Boston Acoustics MCS90 speakers) new would cost me $650 after tax. Is the difference in speaker level and the refurbished issue worth the savings? Thanks for any help.

The Boston Acoustic MCS100 MDNT rated well at Amazon. Now, would I buy this for a medium or large room? Nope. Are these your only two choices? What is the size of your room?


As far as buying refurbished, I've bought refurbished in the past and it's been good to me and well worth the savings. With that said, sometimes, certain things are beyond repair....a lemon, those...no matter how many times they repair it...it'll always be garbage but overall, I've had good experience with refurbished.

The room is 13X18. There are other speakers I can consider, I just happenedto see these and wondered if they would be worth the price diffrence. Thanks for your help, input, etc.
