Ok, I've got a DVD (an adult DVD) that refuses to spin up on my Pioneer DV-656a, Pioneer DV-563a, and Panasonic DVD-XP30 DVD players. All three indicate the disc is in a loading state for several minutes and the DV-563a and the XP-30 eventually "give up".
The only player in which the disc plays is my old Pioneer DVL-919 and playback on that player is about 90%, meaning I will encounter playback quirkiness abuot 10% (or so) of the time (pixelation and some hanging, etc).
I've considered exchanging the disc, but I'm wondering why all 3 2002 and later model year DVD players won't load the disc at all yet my 1999 model year DVL-919 does and offers mostly reliable playback. Any ideas?
Peace...
