Question about Hitachi 42HDS52
Ive had my 42HDS52 for a about two months now and I love it. The thing is, lately, Ive noticed that in scenes that are pretty dark, Im getting a bit of a flickering. Its hard to describe. Basically, the darkest parts of the screen seem to flicker from time to time- a few shades lighter then back to normal. Has anybody had this problem? Is this normal? It's my first plasma so I just dont know. Thanks!

i haven't seen flickering at all, maybe it's the signal?
maybe try turning off the black enhancement? I don't remember what it's called in the video setup options because it's not in front of me at the moment, but that might help.

I have had my 42hds52 for about a year and everytime I think there is a problem with the disply it turns out to be my crappy Brighthouse HD DVR. You might want to look at your signal equiptment. The longest I have ever had an HD DVR last is 3 months before they start acting up.
