Hi there.
Something that always puzzled me is the fact that whenever someone asks which cable is better for audio, HDMI or Optical, someone says "Hdmid, because optical can't handle the bandwidth". While i know that receivers doest support HD-Audio with the optical input, is it really because Toslink can't handle the bandwidth, or its more because a industry decision in favor of HDMI?
Checking the spidif specs, it supports up to 100mb/s+ bandwidth, how come thats not enough for HD-audio?
