Hi All,

I have a quick question about Panasonic service menu (51hx41, 47wx49).

In the service menu, there seems to be HWID (horizontal width), VSIZE (vertical size) and PCC (pincushion) adjustments in the main menu. Then, in coarse convergence menu, there are settings for all sizes and pincushion again.

What is the difference between the size/pincushion in the coarse convergence and the HWID and VSIZE and PCC in the main menu? From my reading, I have noticed that the coarse convergence fixes overscan. Is that correct?

Another question is that would doing one or the other fix the grainy picture (mostly noticeable in 480I) that I get on my TV (I have 5% overscan according to AVIA)?

Thanks guys.
