Here is the scenario:


I have two Xbox 360, one was banned due to the last ban wave so I recently purchased a new Arcade and recovered my profile on it. Now the issue is that I play most of my game on banned console and only use the new one for MW2 online and because of this my same profile has two different gamerscore and achievements.


My question is, is it possible for me to have my profile on a Memory unit and just switch it in to whichever console I'm playing on? If so, how do I go by doing it ? Do I delete the profile on new console and copy the profile from the banned one ?

Yep, I have 3 xbox's around the house, so I just keep my profile on a memory card and plug it in whichever 360 I'm using.

But all your game saves stay on the individual consoles or are they on MU ?

I'll copy the game saves to the memory card for the games that I am playing at the moment. Right now I'm going through Mass Effect for the second time and I'll keep that save on there until I'm done, and then dump the save onto my 120GB xbox. Some saves (like MW2) I always keep on the memory card so I don't have to copy it from my main xbox when the urge to play hits...

There are also a few game saves that cannot be copied or moved, but I'm not sure which games have this restriction...

I could be wrong, but I think saves and profiles and stuff get tainted by the banned console.

Yes, all games saves on the hard drive on banned console get corrupted... that's why I cannot transfer the saves from banned console to the new one that's why I asked if I use MU, will I be able to use same GT on both consoles.

I don't think the profile/Live acct is tainted by the ban....just the saves.
