Hey all I have been having an issue trying to run a speaker wire for my back right surround and I have wired it twice with staples it seems that everytime I do this the cable gets shorted because I have to staple the wire in middle since not have enough room on the molding. What are my options to run this speaker wire across my room on the wall? I dont think the staples is working for me also is there something I can buy to cover the wire so i can hook up another set of surrounds in the middle of my room thanks!

plastic wiremold - two piece - base and snap on cover. run it right on top of the base molding and, if necessary, paint to match - for 9 out of 10 people it will "disappear"

if your base molding has quarter round toe molding and you have carpet - there is usually room to push a 16 ga. or maybe even a 14 ga. two conductor wire under the toe molding because the carpet tack strip is in-front of the toe molding and there is a cavity behind the tack strip.
