I am integrating a second sealed sub into the mix soon and I want to make sure that I have the process down correctly -

Non-EQ'd

1) Connect Second Sub to Y splitter at Receiver. Default to 12 o clock on both subs.

2) Ensure only one sub is turned on.

3) Go into Onkyo and adjust level setting/trim values. to 75-78db or desired SPL level

4) Crossover maxed at 120 to let receiver handle bass management.

Turn off sub, turn on other one, rinse and repeat with other sub.

Does this sound correct for level matching? What kind of Sub db level do you reccomend starting at on the receiver?

Right now with my single I'm at about +4 or 5db. Running a tad hot.

Not critical.

Salt to taste, while listening to various material.
