Hey all,

I'm new here, thanks in advance for your help.

Anyways, I'm helping a buddy of mine with his Sharp Aquos LC-52D62U LCD tv. It's hooked up to his PC via DVI (to HDMI converter, b/c the unit doesn't have a native DVI port).

So, I've updated the drivers and everything on the PC (ATI Radeon X1300 video card), but when I set the desktop to display at 1920x1080 and 60hz, the tv does go into 1080p mode, but it has a black border around the image, even if i set it to go pixel-for-pixel.

If I set the PC to 1920x1080x30hz (interlaced), the image fills the screen just fine, but as you can imagine, the TV goes into 1080i and there is noticeable flicker.

Any ideas on this? Thanks so much.
