I have a first generation wdtv media box. I use it with my projector thru hdmi but I have to use a 20 foot optical cable from the box to my amp for audio. will I be getting the dts and digital sound using this cable?
I play mkv,mpeg4 and all the other formats I download with the box.
Is there another way I can send audio to the amp even id I have to upgrade to a newer wdtv box?
