Question for HLN5065W owners

Have a quick question for this models owners on the sound the color wheel makes when this set is first being turned on.


I believe it's the color wheel sound that I am describing. When the set is first powered on, the "color wheel" makes an audible high-frequency ramping sound, and goes thru this ramping pitch phase 3 times before the picture comes up. It's only 1/4sec or so between each of these audible spin-up phases, but the picture always comes up after the 3rd phase.


I purchased the set new and have had for about 2 1/2 years now. It has always done this and I've never had any major problems other than the standard color wheel replacement. I had the color wheel replaced appx 1yr ago due to the circular saw sound it was making. Even w/ a new color wheel, the set still goes thru this 3-phase spinup process, and has always done this from what I recall, even before the color wheel was replaced.


The service plan expires in another year or so so thought I'd check this out with other HLN5065W owners and see if this is normal behaviour. Appreciate any thoughts on this - TIA
