I was wondering if we could add another branch to the tree for local info.


AVS FORUM > HDTV > LOCAL HDTV INFO AND RECEPTION > STATES


where states = California, Utah, Washington.


I find this area of the forum hard to filter through. Alot of the time the PBS in Detroit does not apply to the PBS in Bucksnort WY.


Anyhow just a suggestion to make things better and easier to locate local info.

Most local threads are titled by their location. Just scan the threads that apply to your area. Or, get your local HD viewers doing a monthly thread like many of us are doing and put all local related posts in that one thread each month.


ie. St. Louis May thread, St. Louis April thread, St. Louis March thread, etc etc

We discussed this before, and it sounds fine, but it would require 50 different forums, which is not possible.


I would suggest using call letters or city names in the search function.

We could divide it by region instead of state. NorthEast, SouthEast, Central and West. Something like this. It would cut down on the number of threads we have to scan.
