I'm in the market for a pre/pro and my dealer locally is recommending me towards the classe ssp-60. I had my mind set on lexicon mc12, but would like to get some feedback on those that have used both and what they prefer.

my current setup is, B&W N802 and htm1, with classe CAM-350 for 802's and a CAM-200 for htm1.

I want to replace my old receiver that will match up well with my setup. My preference is movies, but i'm getting into 2 channel music that i'm loving with my cam-350 and n802s.

or should i just wait for the new classe line?

any advice?? thanks.

I owned the MC-8 and found its analog pass through to be not as good as I wanted for music. The MC-12 is supposed to be better but I have not heard it. I would audition the SSP-60, which should be cheaper than the MC-12. You can read some reviews on both and other preamps and processors here:
