Hello all, i'm very new at video filming and bought a Sony HDR-SR12 and I'd like to understand more about editing and transferring the videos so here are my questions:
1) Do I need a separate software to transfer/copy these movies to a CD or Bluray?
2) What editing software would you guys recommend for a beginner? (that would work with these videos)
3) so far I've been only able to do a playback from the Picture Motion Browser software that comes with the camera, do I have to convert the film to a different format if i wanted to upload the videos to youtube for example?
4) Any recomended reading material for new filmakers?
