I have a Mitsu 55807 that I'm working on getting an HTPC setup with it. 720x480 works fine except the overscan, but I'm having problems getting 1080i out. I have a 17inch CRT that I'm using for testing, but I'm not sure if it can handle 1080i. I tried it on the monitor and it didn't work(went black) I'm curious if it the video card or the monitor thats holding it back I tried it on the tv once(using powerstrips 1080i hdtv setting) and it threw the geometry and convergence out(screen was black), so before I ruin the tv I want to figure it out on the PC monitor.

It works fine when I switch to HD mode with the MyHD card, but I wanna get the desktop to 1080i. So I'm curious if the gf3 ti200 can do 1080i(from the specs it seems possible) Or if the monitor can't do it, or lastly a good way to test it if I don't have a bigger crt(I have 2 LCD's). Using drivers I pulled off nvidia last night and powerstrip I DL'd yesterday also.

Specs:

1800+

512mb 2100ddr

30gig HD

Audigy Sound

MyHD 120

GF3 TI200

Connects to the tv using a breakout box with RGBHV
