hello guys, i have a set of Sony DAV-HD975WF home theater system:

Im planning to connect them into my Harman Kardon AVR7550HD, but these sony speakers are rated at 3ohms and the subwoofer is at 1.5ohms 285W (uses speaker wires). would they work together? ty

Not likely no ... HTIB speakers are generally only designed to work with the receiver in the HTIB package. You'll want to get another set of speakers as well as a "powered" sub that includes it's own amp.
