Question on the Rotel rsp-1066

This is such a basic question I hesitate to ask but I haven't found a definative answer so here goes. Does the 1066 have bass management through the direct m/c inputs(for sacd-dvd-a)?I'm thinking of buying a used one but need a clear answer on this question.The one thing I did find was mention of a problem in B/M-what is the "double bass" problem?Sorry for the newbie query but any response from rotel owners would be a huge help.(or anyone else for that mater.Thanks in advance.
