Ok I have read a lot of the stuff on these forums but I am still lost I guess in terms of what I need to watch the games in HDTV.

I live near Charlotte, NC and watch games currently via NFL Sunday Ticket. The ONLY team I give a crap about is the Cleveland Browns so my question is simple, what does a transplanted dawg need to watch his beloved Browns in HDTV in NC? Are all games on NFL Sunday Ticket in HDTV now or only some? If they arent all in HDTV currently, whats the time table for that to happen?

Lastly, any good newb to HDTV programming site that I can read that someone can point out to me? Sometimes the stuff here jumps over your head pretty quick.

Thanks....oh, and GO BROWNS!

You should read the sticky note above about the NFL in HD.

In summary, only 3 games a week are in HD:

1) CBS "game of the week" on Sunday afternoon

2) Sunday Night Football on ESPN-HD

3) Monday Night Football on ABC

So the only way to see your Browns in HD is if they happen to be on one of those games.

To get them of course you need an HD DirecTV receiver and triple LNB dish.

With your Sunday Ticket sub you'll get the CBS game included free.

You'll need to subscribe to the HD-Pak to get ESPN-HD (or get it from cable).

For ABC you'll need an OTA antenna or get it from your cable provider.

Other programming, check out the HDTV programming forum on this very site.

Have fun.

Not sure you need the triple dish to get the CBS game. I didn't check but I heard it might have been on Satellite A (101.)
