I am trying to get set up for HTDV, but have to do so carefully, so as to stay within the within the "wife acceptance factor" or WAF. So, I am spreading my costs out over time.
To get to my question- I see that the Sony HD-200 has S-video outputs and can output in 480i-- does this mean that it will work (albeit with a SDTV or below quality picture) with my non-HDTV 40" direct view Mitsubishi?
I have searched the forums, thinking this probably isn't the most difficult question, but I can't find any topics on point. Any commentary would be appreciated.
