Is it possible to connect a computer directly to the rgbs input on a barco vision 700 ? or do I need an interface box ?

Is it possible to use a DB15-5*BNC cabel and just use 4 of the BNC connectors ?

You can connect a computer directly to a BV700 using a VGA tot 5 BNC cable.

The Red Green and Bleu cabels you connect to the RBG connecters in your PJ, and the H and V (black and white you connect to the s connector on your Pj


This should work. Inportand is that you have Powerstrip installed to your PC, and give the PJ a negative sync. Otherwise your PJ can not sync. to the signal.

Just cut the cable's ans strip and twist the insulated copper cables together and solder to the tip from the BNC connector, then twist the mass leads also together en solder that to the mass rrom the BNC connector.


Maybe you can buy a VGA to 4 BNC cable. I do not now if they exists. You have to check at you're local store. I asked over-here, in my local store and they looked at me if they could see pigs fly. So i made it myself.
