the HK is the first stereo amp [THAT I AM AWARE OF] which has a subwoofer out. ive checked the site and i looked closely at the hi-res images but couldnt find any sub controls.

my questions are:-

is there "bass management" ????? i mean with high/low pass filters?

if so, what are the crossover freq choices?

There is no bass management. You have to set the crossover on your sub's controls, and no way to set it for the mains.

thanks bobL. too bad the amp doesnt take the bass away from the main channels. that's what i'm searching for. an audiophile 2.1 solution. are there any other amps/preamps that are 2.1?

You could something like Outlaw's ICBM between the pre-outs and the main in. This would work for many stereo receivers/ amps. Here's the link.
