Hi,

I've got a 46" LED and a 32" LCD that I need to mount. I purchased 2 low profile mounts from monoprice and borrowed a friends stud finder. For a small visualization, the TV's are actually each being mounted on one side of the same wall. One side of the wall is the living room and the other is a play room
.

Anyways, I used the stud finder to and found the studs are 24" apart rather than 16". A friend who used to be in construction said they are metal studs and not wood as well. My issues are the following:

1. If I drill the mounts into the studs I don't believe the TV will be properly centered.

2. I had a guy out who does some cabling work and mounts stuff commercially. He said I should be able to use Toggle Bolts to hold it just fine if we put a few extra in.

If I can get the stuff into the metal studs do I need to do anything special?

In regards to #2 is what he said okay?

What should I do?

try to hit at least one stud, then the toggle screws should work. i hung my 55 LCD by only hitting one stud, off center then I added some huge drywall screws to each end....its still hanging
