Hello all,
I'm brand new to this forum and am also a novice when it comes to home theater and entertainment installation (I'm a tech guy, just not a power tools kind of guy hehe). Anyway my question is as follows:
Will a 55", 35lb LED TV be safe on a wall via a mount with (only) two separate bolts (lag bolts I'm assuming as they're huge...) going into two separate studs?
The directions call for four as you can imagine, however I was only able to get pilot holes drilled fully in twice before bits were getting stuck in the wall and or the driver would fail to catch the bit...I couldn't for the life of me get two more full pilots in...
However the two I did get fully in and was able to bolt in were on two separate studs both on top rail of the mount. See this attached image. The red indicates where I was able to bolt in successfully into studs. The green lines indicate where the TV hangs centrally on the wall space.

I did pull on the mount as much as I could. I put the TV up and it seems sturdy (nothing moving or rattling easily). I even pulled as much as i could downward with the TV on the mount already (dumb, I know). So I feel as though this thing will hold, but I've never done this before so I wanted to get some opinions.
This is the TV:

What do you guys think?
