Question Tv mounted on wall fireplace below

1374 Views 3 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Geoff_L
I now own the Polk Center cs20 the problem is the space between the tv and the fireplace is limited. I am hoping there is someone out-there who has had a similar issue. I have not purchased a mantle as of yet i am awaiting till i figure this out!

The wife is getting impatient and is telling me to go smaller for a speaker in the center. I feel if I do that I will lose the sound I am looking for. If there is any advice out there i would really appreciate the help!!

I have a very limited space between my mantle and my screen, just under 7" high, 8 1/2 " deep. Was using a Vienna Waltz grand, just ordered a custom sized CC from Salk.
I had the same problem when looking for a center and ended up going with a Klipsch WC-24 due to it's shallow depth. I've been very happy with it. It fits perfectly on my shallow mantle.

I had a similar challenge many years ago. Below are a couple of old photos from 10 years ago. Since then we've upgraded to the Definitive Technology Pro Monitor 1000's (LR), 2000 (center) and 800 (surrounds) with a SuperCube III. It has worked very well for us. If you need more pictures or have any questions let me know.

I found some more recent pictures of my Definitive Technology setup in case that helps at all.
