I have a RPTV Sony brand in a 43 inch. I have set up a Technics receiver and two very large speakers next to the Tv ,using this for better audio. Can the polarity in the speakers have any effect on the TV reception and the picture ?
Do you mean can the fields generated by the speaker magnets affect the picture? They can if they're extremely close and not well shielded, as the electrons in the CRTs will be deflected from their original path. I would tend to move the speakers a foot or more away from the RPTV cabinet. Perhaps speakers designed for HT would be fine right next to the Sony, look for picture stretching/convergence errors at the edges at both spkr positions.
