I'll be in the market to buy a new TV soon.
I currently have an HTPC with an Nvidia GTX1080ti connected to an old Samsung 55" LCD TV with HDMI 1.2 @1080p 60Hz
Questions:
1. The 77" LG CX TV from 2020 seems like the best TV I can get for the size. Are there going to be any new TVs coming out next year that I might want to wait for? I'm not interested in a TV any smaller than 75".
1. If I upgrade to this TV, what is the maximum resolution and refresh rate I can push it on my Windows Desktop? Will it handle 4K 120Hz HDR natively connected via HDMI? What version of HDMI cable do I need?
2. What is the most affordable graphics card I can buy that will push this TV to its maximum potential? I'm guessing my current GTX1080ti wont be able to do this.
3. Anyone reported issues with burn-ins using this TV as an HTPC/gaming monitor? For gaming, I plan to use my Geforce NOW 3080 gaming streaming service.
Anything else I need to know before buying this TV?
Thanks so much in advance!
