Searched the archives but didn't really find complete answers-so here goes:
Adding a HTPC to a MITS WS-65809 which only has one HD (1080i) input (which is already in use) and an open 480p input. My ATI card already has the dvi-component adapter so it would be less difficult (equipment-wise) to simply hook this up to the 480p. However, would I be better off swapping out the ATI adapter for a dvi-vga one and then going through a vga switcher to the 1080i input?
If the answer is #2-any recommendations on the switcher? I need a two input vga that also handles the (analog) audio and I'm not looking to spend 300$. Also, I don't mind manually switching the inputs, so auto-sensing is not required.
Thanks in advance for the help-I'm looking for forward to diving in to Powerstrip soon!
