it will auto update to 1.09 and stop seeing media..
if you do a clean install of 1.09 it's fine, if you update, it goes nuts..

TVersity still supports Xvid and Divx just fine. The application you install on your computer runs in the Flash Player so it is a bit unstable, but works nonetheless.
Anyways, I recommend TVersity over the D-Link Media Server.
