Ok, I just purchased this:

Toshiba 51" Model: 51HC85

I want the best picture i can get using my PC to play DVD's stored on the HDD. This is the video card i have now:

Sapphire Radeon 7000 64MB DDR AGP w/ TV Out

What can i do with this card? Also what settings can i use when sending video to pc. I don't want to send wrong refresh rates or resolutions if i could possibly damage something.

Thanks for your help!

It is my undestanding that those cables will not work properly. Though I could be wrong. You will need either a transcoder or an ATI dongle (for the 7000 I think only the VGA one works there is good info on this at HTPCnews.com).

The dongle will be cheaper.

72ScoutNGa,

For the PC side of things, read the thread/FAQ about the extremely useful PowerStrip software utility (use avsforum search engine). It will help you understand setting the resolution/refresh rate needed for your display device.
