Quick help regarding player selection

Hi Everyone,


Yes, this is another 'which player is best for me' thread. I have narrowed down to either the Pioneer or the Sony, but am not sure which way to go....i have a Pioneer plasma that can accept 1080p/24fps, so it is boiling down to one of these. I can also say that the PS3 is not an option at this point.



The Sony is cheaper at the moment, but I cannot find a good confirmation if Sony is going to provide upgrades for TrueHD/DTS MA. I know that it has been reported in the Pioneer thread that this will be an update in the near future....



Thoughts?
