Hey, I just bought this 20$ DVD player at walmart "philips DVP642" and I'm just wondering if it gives as good as quality at the 100$ ones, err, like does more expensive ones give better quality? I have a 19" TV lol

On your 19" TV I don't think you could tell any difference. I thought the Philips was $40 and the small Magnavox was $30. The Philips has the best remote design that I have seen. I'm using one on an old CRT TV so I haven't tried upscaling with it.

Yeah I didn't think I'd tell a difference, because my TV can only use component cables, and that's what the DVD player uses, and since it's 19" its 420P lol
