I doubt it. The controller pod it comes with is the "receiver". The amp for the satellites is in the sub and I believe connects with a proprietary cable.


The Z-5500 is not what I consider a HTIB. It is a just a large set of computer speakers that has multiple inputs and decoding capability. If a system that involves an actual receiver is in your future, then maybe consider one of the HTIB systems that has a separate receiver to start with, or go to the HTIB Alternatives thread and put together your own system.

Also keep in mind that the Logitechs have the most god-awful muddy sound you will EVER hear.

i have it in my bedroom theater (laptop connected to dell 21" widescreen lcd monitor) and it sounds clean and loud unlike the "muddy" sound mentioned.
