Just a quick question, when playing a DVD on my HTPC and the AR is 1.85:1 or 2.35:1 etc on the DVD I can expand the AR to fit my screen on my computer (4:3), and my screen is filled, no black bars.
Here is my question, Do I leave the picture in an unexpanded mode and then expand my H&V settings on my PJ to fill the 16:9 screen I have when setting up my PJ screen? Is this the way it is normally done? The problem with this is that when I stop the movie, the picture is way over-sized for the screen and it is hard to find the start button on the desktop. I have to resize the H&V settings, or just guess where it is located until the menu pops up to shut down the PC.
Thanks!!
James
