Quick simple question on HDA1

290 Views 4 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  craftech
Im just wondering if someone could please tell me how long the HDMI cable that comes with the Tosh HDa1 player is and if its worth a crap.

Do most just replace it with a monoprice or other cable?

Im just trying to have everything ready for when it arrives so I can enjoy upon its arrival instead of having to run to the store.

Thanks

I believe it is 6 feet. It is your run of the mill oem cable, it works fine. I got one from monoprice. I did not feel I needed to, just wanted to.
Monoprice sells HDMI cables for so little that HDMI cables for any equipment are kind of a nonissue at this point. Check em out...

If only the guy I saw at CC yesterday buying a $149 HDMI Monster cable knew that!
I wonder of the thinner gage HDMI cable that Monoprice sells in 25+ foot lengths isn't just as good as the thicker cable in terms of signal loss. In terms of breakage resistance, of course, I would prefer the thicker cable. But the digital signal going through an HDMI cable shouldn't IMO deteriorate from wire resistance as it does with an analog signal.
