The VP10...I wish.

As fo size, it weighs about 10 pounds.

small screw attachment point should show that lens is LARGE.

Looks like a fairly recent cinema grade pj lens assembly, complete with color filters and 3 light paths.

Runco...their recent projectors seem to have smaller lenses then this, although it is hard to judge.

resolution about 1280 * 720?

Looked at Dwins and Selecos, and none of them seem to have this massive lens...

I am guessing this had a very high lumens rating...

It looks a bit like the lens from a higher-end Christie DLP:

For the record, I do not know the identity of the projector.

I am using the other products from a dlp PJ offred on the website to guide the guesses. They do not normally carry that sort of stuff, so i figure its from the same source.

The massive Christie guess seems to be the best guess so far. Desciption on the site says Lens assembly from a MEMS projector (is this the same as DLP?) with massive lumens output. they had it has distinct optical paths for red , blue and green, so that would make it a 3 chipper, yes?

Christie uses Minolta lens as do most 3 chip projectors.

This could be from a Barco LCD projector or something or again from a xenon slide projector. Im convinced its not from a DLP 3 chip.
