I'm setting up my 65" RPTV, and I'm wondering how to determine the ideal location for my Right & Left speakers. I'll be viewing from 10' away from the screen. How far apart is the ideal position for these speakers, and should they be pointed toward the viewer or straight out. I'm obviously a newbie, so any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Theoretically the R Speaker, L Speaker and You at the sitting position should be equidistant from each other.

A little amount of toe in focuses the sound, them being more straight facing (less toe in) increases the soundstage (I am not sure if this term is the correct one). Basically I mean it sounds bigger and less focused (you can hear good general sound from different parts of the room)

Toe in is great as it sounds great at the sweet spot (your location).

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Sreeni
