Hi,

I'm new at this this so please forgive any stupid questions. I've searched the forum and can't quite find a similar answer....

I have a samsung LED 6800. It is rated to accept 120hz. However, my radeon 5450 card says that the max it is rated to accept is 75 hz. I've talked to samsung and they say that ALL computer video cards output at 60hz and to get 120hz I need to set up an outside bluray player that allows me to watch the full 120 hz.

Is there something I should do other than purchase a separate blu ray player? Does it automatically adjust? What is the correct setting for the video card refresh rate?

Thank you for all your help!

The 120Hz refresh rate of the panel is an internal feature of the set, it will take the normal 60Hz feed you'd get from just about any source material and double it for display.
