My question is, is this worth another $300? Can it really improve the pic quality for a 35ft cable lenght?

Hi plissken99,

I have an NEC 9pg crt pj and I am using a MP-1 mod 9500. I can say that the improvement is the biggest I have seen and the best investment to my system to date. Someone had described it as if you have been viewing your movies through a dirty window, then all of a sudden the window is now clean. I can honestly say that this is not an overstatement in the least.

I get the impression that most people who use the MP-1 have a long cable run (20'+). Is it going to make any difference if you have a very short run like 6'?
