Radio Interferance Problem

Any insight would be greatly appreciated as I continue to trouble-shoot this glitch. I have an elaborate system incorporating Whise Profunder, self-powered, tri-amplified monitors. There is persistent radio interferance heard in the speakers that increases as I add more interconnect cables to the system. All cables are 100% sheilded and all components are plugged into Panamax's top of the line ACRegenerator line filter/surge device. I have tried just plugging the speakers into the wall with and without ground, then attaching cables to the speaker's unbalanced RCA input. I still get RFI that increases as I add more cables, even when not connected to any source device.

If I connect the speaker directly to the Onkyo receiver, there is no RFI until I start adding a bunch of cables to the other ins & outs on the Onkyo. I am also waiting to hear back from the importer of the speakers as well as other experts in the field. Please help if you know what else I can try. Maybe grounding the various components' chassis to the grounding post on the Panamax?

u need to use XLR for a system of that stature... detail more of your config for us tho ?
Tomlinson Holman, his own bad self, called me this morning (I got the speakers from his company) and suggested I get some copper braid grounding strap for the chassis ground option. I have not found any yet. He said a simple wire seldom does as good a job.

The powered speakers have a balanced XLR input option but no other component in the system uses balanced connections. The system consists of: Onkyo THX Ultra receiver, Audio Control Bijou THX Ultra 5.1 channel EQ, HDTV STB, S-VHS VCR, PVR, DVD, ATT digital cable box, subwoofer amp, AudioPlex 3-zone 16 channel distributed audio system with key pads, signal links to the Master Bedroom system and a 50 inch Plasma.

I also ordered devices from Jensen Transformer that may solve the problem. They are to be connected at the powered speakers. I'll keep you informed of how it goes.
It looks like I have solved my RFI problems, as well as some 60Hz hum encountered along the way. It took a combination of chassis grounding and installation of some ground-isolation transformers from Jensen Transformer. These devices are passive 'black boxes' that are inserted in the interconnect path. I think I saw some similar devices by others for less money but Jensen makes what looks like the best for pro and consumer applications.

I have had to run ground wires from the chassis of the equalizer and the AV receiver to the Panamax ACRegenerator. I tried 14-gauge speaker wire which seemed to do the job. Grounding the chassis from the sub amp didn't help some 60Hz hum that appeared, neither did lifting the ground on the AC cord by using a two-prong adapter. It required an isolation transformer.
