There's a fire sale on HD Radio tech right now (except for AVRs that have it built-in). I've been stocking up on the Insignia HDTUNEs when I find them on Ebay (got three now), as they're the only tuners I've found that have both digital coaxial and optical outs, and they're cheap (40-50 bucks). Also got two Sonys for their analog performance.
I would buy one of the Rat Shack dongles for the iPhone, but they only work with the iBuds as an antenna - not my noise cancelling Bose phones...
I really hope HD Radio picks up and there's a renaissance, as more AVRs have it standard, and people realize how much difference there is in a home system (frankly, I don't see as much application in vehicle systems, mainly because of reception issues). The local NPR station here sounds amazing through a quality external DAC!
