Rainbow with LCD PJ??

I have never heard of a rainbow effect on an LCD PJ. But there it is in all its glory on my VT 540. Any ideas guys? I have recently put in a new RGB cable, 30' long. Could this be the reason? Need some advice here!!

If by rainbow you mean alternating colored bars possibly at a diagonal on the screen I'd be inclined to go chasing ground loops. Especially after changing a cable. If not that did anything else change, the screen perhaps? The extra info may help one of the real experts http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif answer.

The only thing I have recently changed is the cable - 15 foot extension to 25'. I don't think there was a rainbow affect before that. Still, I have never heard of long cable runs leading to this problem. I will soon be trying Mr. Wiggles' shielded Cat 5 solution. I'll post if this resolves the issue.
