Anybody use this EQ for your mains.It would be nice to smoothout the transition from the subs to the mains.


While I understand there are separate camps who believe EQing is bad and EQing is good, I can care less to hear about the negitive.Just the EQ people need apply!

The Rane 44 is a fine equalizer, however my only criticism is the "THX" part. IMO, the THX home spec kind of hamstrung qualifying equalizers. Boost and cut are limited to 6 dB, and you only have control over the low to middle frequencies (which is fine for your intended purpose). Rane got away with adding a few parametric filters to this equalizer, and this helps overcome the THX shortcomings.
